WolfWood Refuge is having their inaugural Art Auction Friday, September 28, 2012, 5:30-9PM. At the Durango Discovery Museum. Tickets are $25.
Please join us for an evening of art, wine, food and fun along the Animas River. A live and silent auction featuring artwork by some of the best artists in the four-corners will offer an opportunity for attendees to own some fabulous art and support the humane efforts of WolfWood Refuge. Spend some time with two ambassador wolves for the evening. The Silent Auction items will include the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners from Mountain Middle School art contest.
WolfWood Refuge is a state and federally licensed sanctuary for wolves and wolf/dogs. Located in La Plata County, WolfWood is one of the largest facilities of its kind, operating for over fifteen years and providing a permanent home for over 73 animals. WolfWood is engaged in rescue and rehabilitation, educational outreach, local volunteer opportunities and maintaining a safe haven and high quality environment for these special animals.
