Artists working in all media, except film, are invited to enter the annual Four Corners Commission at the Durango Arts Center. This regional juried exhibit celebrates the uniqueness of life, the land, and the diverse heritage of the Four Corners region. This year’s juror will be Louisa McElwain. A resident of northern New Mexico since 1985, she has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions, and her work is represented in several museums and corporate and private collections. She is a plein air artist, an abstract impressionist, who emphatically paints with palette knives and masonry trowels “to curb my ability to describe objects, and to move paint with velocity, articulate delicacy, and sensuous impasto.” Download Entry Form at www.DurangoArts.org/four-corners-commission-juried-exhibit
