The Steep Canyon Rangers might be best recognized as the bluegrass band often fronted by comedian/musician Steve Martin. Independently, however, the quintet has garnered a well-deserved reputation for smooth vocals, smart songwriting, ferocious instrumentals and stunning harmony. With albums and solo records that consistently place on the top of the bluegrass charts, the Steep Canyon Rangers regularly perform to enthusiastic audiences at prestigious events such as RockyGrass, “A Prairie Home Companion” and Telluride Bluegrass Festival.
