In a special dual-author event, we’ll bring together Bill Hatcher & John Gentry, both Colorado authors who have written about their travels in East Africa & the self-discovery that resulted from their humanitarian efforts there. Hatcher will read from his book The Marble Room: How I Lost God and Found Myself in Africa, about his work with the Peace Corps, and Gentry will describe his work with CARE as chronicled in his book Becoming Ordinary: My Year in the Refugee Camps of Somalia.
