Red Ball Express is a local fundraising event organized by the Rotary Clubs of La Plata County. All proceeds from the event support Rotary projects in La Plata County and local programs for people in need or at risk.

Over 100 gigantic red exercise balls will be rolled down a course on the slopes at Purgatory Mountain. Prior to the event, tickets are sold for only $5 that allow the buyer to adopt two of the red balls.

For the 10th anniversary of Red Ball Express, the first place ticket holder could win $25,000! A random drawing of two balls will be made right before the balls roll down the slopes on February 11th. If the first place balls match these two, the winner gets $25,000 this year! If not, they still $5,000 cash.

The second pair to finish wins that ticket holder $2,000 and the third pair wins that ticket holder $1,000!
