Native American Hand Drum Making Workshop Instructors: Jered Canty and Nakwihi Nataani Perry Date: Saturday, May 11 Time: 10am – 2pm Where: DAC Education Studio Class size: 12 Age and ability: Open to all ages and abilities Cost: $100/person, which includes a 12” wood drum frame, natural elk hide, rawhide lacing, and drum stick. Class description: Jered and Nakwihi will teach this workshop where students will make a traditional 12” hand drum. All materials will be supplied. When the drums are completed they will demonstrate the use of the hand drum and perform several Native American songs.
