Free Backpacking Trip with the San Juan Mountains Association

The San Juan Mountains Association, in partnership with the San Juan National Forest, is offering a free backpacking trip June 29 and 30. Whether you are new to backpacking or want to share your experience with others, this trip will be a fun and educational adventure. Interpretive guide MK Thompson will lead the trip over Sharkstooth Pass and into the Bear Creek Valley in the San Juan National Forest. Optional side trips could explore nearby peaks and lakes.
