Singing has always offered a refuge from the trials of life. This exquisite concert will evoke memories, inspire hope and joy, and share the powerful emotions brought about by the combination of beautiful music and stirring text. Composers will range from love songs by Johannes Brahms and a double choir Ave Maria by Gustav Holst to Gilbert and Sullivan and a wild, foot stomping spiritual. Reflections will open with a rhythmic and joyous Gloria from the medieval period and close with an intensely personal finale entitled I Have Had Singing.
