New sketchbooks and journals can be inspiring and/or intimidating. Let's look at a variety of upcycled and recycled materials to make a travel journal we can take backpacking, on road trips, or for our everyday travels. What makes a journal great for travel? Pages can be added or taken away, pockets for collecting found treasures, and the use of different clips, punches, washi tape, etc. to embellish and add dimension to pages. We will consider content, composition, and mark-making tools that reflect our travel experiences. And most of all, have fun, learn something new, and meet new people in our communities!
