Call for Auditions for DAC’s It’s a Wonderful Life Durango Arts Center Theater will hold auditions for It’s a Wonderful Life, a live 1940’s radio play on Monday, October 14 from 6–9 p.m. in the DAC Theater. Actors ages 18 and up needed; no preparation or experience necessary – just show up to read small scenes from the play. Actors will be using their scripts during the play, so full memorization will not be required. Please note the directing team can work around conflicts if it is known ahead of time. Bring scheduling conflicts to auditions. You must be available for all performances. Presented as a live radio broadcast in front of a studio audience, actors play the dozens of characters, as well as produce the sound effects, bringing to life the town of Bedford Falls. Let your imagination build the scene and see the story anew with this nostalgic and spirit-lifting tale.
