DESCRIPTION
Up Next: Conservation easements are one tool for protecting private land. Scott Perez, Executive Director at La Plata Open Space Conservancy, will discuss the science, economics, and the politics behind private land conservation, how it can help the land owner, and how it is part of the public good.

Citizen scientists, you asked for it, and the museum is pleased to deliver: Pub Science! A special night out for moms, dads, grandmothers, grandfathers, citizen scientists, and anyone who needs a few, well-earned happy hours of fun—adult style.

Pub Science is scheduled the first Friday of every month, from 6pm-8pm, in 2013. There's food and affordable drinks, it's casual and creative, and there's always a science-y twist.
