The Durango Arts Center’s performing arts program DAC Applause! is proud to present the musical Pickle-Chiffon Pie based on the award-winning children's book written by Jolly Roger Bradfield on Fridays and Saturdays, November 8-9 and 15 at 7 p.m. with special fundraiser shows on Saturday, November 16 at 1 and 7 p.m. Pickle Chiffon Pie is a tale that stretches the imagination; the audience gets to meet a juggling lion, a sixteen-foot gazoo and a mouse that paints like Picasso! With a wonderful script by local artist Wendy Ludgewait and catchy musical numbers, this is a fun show for the whole family! Families and children are invited for special hugs, handshakes with the three princes and princess for the special fundraiser shows on Saturday, November 16. Children can meet with the cast after the show for autographs. There will be locally made artisan pies for auction. Tickets are $10 general and $7 for children seven years old and under.
