SJMA Winter Discovery Walk to Chris Park

Join a naturalist from San Juan Mountains Association (SJMA) on Saturday, February 1st from 10am - noon for a fun and educational snowshoe walk to Chris Park. Search for signs of life in the winter stillness. Look closely, and you will realize that life lives on in the cold and snow of winter. For ages 4 and up, accompanied by an adult. Snowshoes for children are provided. Snowshoes for adults can be provided if you register by Jan. 29th. Contact MK to sign up at MK@sjma.org or 970-759-9113. San Juan Mountains Association promotes education, volunteer stewardship, information and hands-on involvement on public lands in SW Colorado. Staff and volunteers work as the nonprofit partner of the San Juan National Forest, BLM Tres Rios Field Office, and BLM Canyons of the Ancients National Monument.
