The public is invited to think locally and act locally by supporting La Plata Open Space Conservancy at the 20th Annual Snowdown Event Thursday, January 30 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m at the DoubleTree Hotel in Durango. The event features locally created artwork and food, local and regional wines and craft-spirits, music by Jeff Solon plus outdoor-themed silent auction items. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased online at www.lposc.org. All proceeds protect local open space lands. The artwork and photography are currently on display in the lobby of Bank of Colorado, 1199 Main Avenue. Early bids can be placed at the bank.
