Join Yoga Therapist and grief survivor Lynn Wickersham for a therapeutic yoga practice to address the challenges and symptoms of grief. This workshop is hosted by the Grief Center of Southwest Colorado. Participants will experience yogic practices that release energetic and emotional blocks in the body, regulate the nervous system, foster deep breathing, and enhance mental clarity to support the grieving process. Yogic techniques will include posture and gentle movement, somatic inquiry, breath exercises, mantra, mudra, affirmation, and relaxation. This workshop is open to anyone grieving a death-related loss, and no prior yoga experience is required. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. A limited number of mats are available; other props will be provided.
