The Black Diamond Lodge Invites the Community to the Fourth Annual Gingerbread Lodge!

A free holiday open house with family fun, live music, and a gingerbread house contest.

The Black Diamond Lodge is thrilled to announce the return of its Fourth Annual Gingerbread Lodge, a beloved holiday open house and community celebration kicking off the season in true mountain-modern style. The free event will take place at The Black Diamond Lodge, located just north of Durango, and is open to locals and visitors alike.

Each year, the Gingerbread Lodge transforms the venue into a winter wonderland filled with festive cheer, family activities, and a dash of friendly competition. Guests can enjoy hot cider and cocoa, live music, miniature ponies, crafts and games for kids, photo ops, venue tours, and, of course, the fan-favorite Gingerbread House Contest. “The Gingerbread Lodge is one of our favorite traditions,” says Amber Andrew, lodging and events director of The Black Diamond Lodge. “It’s our way of opening our doors to the community and sharing a bit of the magic that makes this place so special, whether you’re planning a wedding, hosting a gathering, or just looking for a cozy mountain escape.”
