CHAMBER MUSIC I

Hear this year’s Conservatory students play a varied program of chamber music, giving the audience the opportunity to hear these talented young artists in small collaborative groups. Special appearances by Conservatory faculty will round out the program.

Music in the Mountains Conservatory is a two week summer program of intense instruction for high school and college aged string players. This year, the Conservatory will run during the first two weeks of the Music in the Mountains Festival. Matt Albert, Conservatory Director, and his talented faculty will lead the students through lessons in string orchestra, chamber music, private lessons, master classes, performances, and activities to take advantage of the natural beauty surrounding Durango.
