The Southwest Center for Independence, a local nonprofit that supports people with disabilities to live independently in the community is holding a KNOW YOUR RIGHTS presentation in conjunction with the Civil Rights Education & Enforcement Center on the right to access; knowing your rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Learn about the legal rights of people with disabilities in public transportation, accessible sidewalks, curbs, buildings and other accessible facilities.
