Purgatory Resort is hosting a two-part winter event featuring Colorado-made snowboards and a laid-back après celebration.

The day kicks off with a Venture Snowboards Demo Day, where riders can test boards handcrafted in Silverton, Colorado. Founded in 1999, Venture Snowboards builds and tests its boards in some of the most demanding terrain in the Lower 48. Demo boards will be available throughout the day for guests looking to try something new on the mountain. A valid lift ticket or season pass is required to participate in demos.

In the afternoon, the event rolls into a Ska Brewing Après Party on Purgy’s Patio. Guests can enjoy Ska Brewing beers and enter for a chance to win a Venture Snowboard, with the giveaway taking place during the party. Attendance at the après event is free.

Both events take place at Ski Beach, making it easy to enjoy a full day of riding, local brands, and post-laps celebration.
