We have a brand-new home for our art! I am honored to announce that Durango Poetry has been invited by Post Commander Melinda Michael to join the weekly open mic night at the Trujillo-Sheets American Legion Hall (828 East 2nd Ave).

Beginning this Thursday, March 12th, and continuing every 2nd Tuesday of the month thereafter, our poets will share the stage with local musicians. This wonderful partnership provides our artists with a second monthly venue to share their "living poetry" with the Durango community.

Mic Goes Hot: 6:00 PM (until 9:00 PM)
Early Bird Perk: To secure a Prime Time Spotlight slot (7:00 PM – 8:00
PM), please arrive and get your name on the list by 5:45 PM!

While there is no entry fee, I encourage everyone to patronize the cash bar to support the facility as a "thank you" for their hospitality.
