We have a brand-new home for our art! I am honored to announce that Durango Poetry has been invited by Post Commander Melinda Michael to join the weekly open mic night at the Trujillo-Sheets American Legion Hall (828 East 2nd Ave).

Our poets will share the stage with local musicians. This wonderful partnership provides our artists with a second monthly venue to share their "living poetry" with the Durango community.

While there is no entry fee, I encourage everyone to patronize the cash bar to support the facility as a "thank you" for their hospitality.
