The Summer of ’26 Begins: Durango Poetry Returns to the River
After a phenomenal inaugural year, the Durango Poetry Open Mic Matineereturns for its second summer season. We invite you to step away from the noise of the weekend and into the serenity of The White Rabbit Garden.
Nestled under the grove canopy alongside the flowing Animas River, the White Rabbit provides more than just a venue - it is a sanctuary for the mind and spirit. Whether you are a seasoned voice or a first-time listener, this is your invitation to experience the caliber of creativity that has made our community’s poetry scene a local phenomenon.
Share your voice. Find your inspiration.
From prose and storytelling to music and verse, the stage is yours. Or, simply take a seat and enjoy the imaginative journeys of others in one of Durango’s most idyllic settings.
* Hospitality: Miss Keena will be at the refreshment counter with an array of seasonal delights.
* Admission: Always Free | All Ages | Everyone is Welcome.
Note: Due to the popularity of our previous season, seating is limited. Early arrival is highly recommended to secure your place in the garden.
Join Larry and Miss Keena as we kick off a summer of connection, culture, and craft. The Summer of ’26 starts here.
