A DAC Theatre Benefit Event for Hospice of Mercy

Alpine Bank, the Durango Arts Center, Hospice of Mercy and Mercy Health Foundation present Dear Mother at Durango Arts Center on Sunday, May 11 at 3 p.m. and Tuesday, May 13 at 7 p.m. This event is part of the series Honoring our Mothers and Fathers, with Dear Dad taking place in mid June in conjunction with Father’s Day. Both events are benefit events for Hospice of Mercy.

Created by Judy Hook with assistance from Judith Reynolds. A series of letters famous people have written to their mothers, some are innocent, some sad, and some are darkly comedic. All express the complexity of love between a child and a parent. Bring your mother, surrogate mother, sister, best friend, or come and honor the memory of your mother. Presented in honor of all mothers in conjunction with Mother’s Day.
