Join the City of Durango in celebrating sustainable transportation with the 17th annual Clean Commute Day on June 17! Sustainable transportation is walking, rolling, biking, riding Transit, or carpooling to work or wherever for the day. This year's edition will carry forward the traditions of year's past with some exciting new additions as well! This year, we hosted an art competition for this year's schwag and poster design. The winner of the competition was Demarius at Miller Middle School! Another addition to the event will be scavenger hunt challenges where participants will earn entries for the raffle at the afterparty by finding different things around town and visiting different Clean Commute Day stations. In addition, we will be continuing the traditions of a week-long commuter challenge, morning stations, and an afterparty for the commuters of Durango to celebrate clean commuting in all its glory.
