The regular practice of Tai Chi can be beneficial for improving balance, strength, flexibility, for fall prevention, lowering blood pressure and more. Ads are popping up for something called Tai Chi walking. Many making outrageous claims. Come to La Plata County Senior Center and learn from a certified Tai Chi instructor how to do real Tai Chi walking and what you can reasonably expect from a regular practice.
These two days are a special workshop. We also have regular classes for beginners. The class is free. A $5 donation to the La Plata County Senior Center will be gratefully accepted.
