Mother’s Day Shopping Spectacular encourages people to shop Durango’s unique retail stores for a special Mother’s Day gift. The Mother’s Day Shopping Spectacular runs from Friday May 9 to Sunday May 11. Seventeen shops will be celebrating Mother’s Day with sidewalk promotions and entertainment. Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 11.

Merchants participating in the “Shopping Spectacular” this weekend are Animas Trading Company, Beads and Beyond, Dolce Boutique, Durango Antique Market, Durango Olive Oil Company, Earthen Vessel Gallery, Inferno Board Shop, Kroeger’s Ace Hardware, Maria’s Bookshop, Renae Marie Apparel and Gifts, Rose Pedals, Silk Sparrow, Southwest Sound, Spaaah Shop, There’s No Place Like Home, Urban Market, and YESS The Book Hutch.

If you don’t quite get around to buying a gift in advance remember Sunday brunch in Downtown Durango is always a great option. Then afterwards you can stroll Downtown and visit your mother’s favorite shops. Do it for Mom.!
