A few times a year, Lela's Book Shop inside the Durango Public Library, holds a huge book sale. Thousands of gently-used books for $1.00 each. Almost every genre will be available. The all-volunteer group, Friends of the Durango Public Library, manages the event and ensures that all books are in good shape and only gently-used. If you become a member of Friends of the Durango Public Library, for only $10. annually, you'll have early entry at 9:30am each day.
