The event started way back in 1935 and was formerly known as the “Spanish Trails Fiesta”. It’s an important festival in Durango that celebrates its local flavors and colorful heritage. This year’s Fiesta Days takes place at the La Plata County Fairgrounds. The 90th anniversary of Durango Fiesta Days, established in 1935, features Queen Contest, Rodeo, 4D Barrel Jackpot, Team Roping Slack, BBQ/Pie Auction/Street Dance, Slack, and various local vendors.
