The landscapes of the Four Corners region - from the rim of the Grand Canyon to the red rock monuments of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante - are extraordinary. They are also under pressure. Join staff from the Grand Canyon Trust for an evening conversation about what it takes to protect them. Since 1985, the Trust has worked to safeguard the air, water, wildlife, and cultural landscapes of the Grand Canyon and the Colorado Plateau, supporting the rights of the region's Native peoples whose ancestral homelands span this entire landscape. Trust staff will share an overview of their current conservation work — from defending national monuments and addressing uranium mining near the Grand Canyon, to sustaining the Colorado River and amplifying Indigenous voices — and will take your questions. Whether you're a longtime supporter or just learning about the Trust, this is a chance to go deeper on the issues that matter most to this place we all love.
