DESCRIPTION
Move Better. Stay Strong. Be More Active

Durango Fall Prevention is a specialized 12-week balance and movement program designed to help individuals improve balance, restore stability, build strength, reduce fall risk, and maintain confidence and independence through progressive, real-world movement training.

Unlike traditional fitness classes that focus primarily on exercise, Durango Fall Prevention improves how the entire body functions in real-life situations - from walking on uneven ground and navigating stairs to getting up from a chair safely and confidently.

Participants learn to:
* Improve balance, strength, mobility, and coordination
* Increase body awareness and proprioception
* Navigate challenging obstacles and surfaces - both stable and unstable
* Transition safely between different surfaces and elevations
* Improve posture, stability, and movement control
* Learn strategies for falling more safely
* Reduce the risk of falls and related injuries
* Move with greater confidence and independence

Created by Donald Poindexter, Durango Fall Prevention trains the body as one complete, integrated system. The program combines functional strength, balance training, corrective movement, mobility exercises, and practical movement skills that transfer directly into everyday life.

Designed for real life—not just exercise
