Two armored vehicles. One important mission.

The Durango Police Department, the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office, and Walmart Durango are teaming up to Stuff the Truck for local students.

DPD will bring the BearCat, and LPCSO will bring the Terradyne. We need the community to help fill both.

Your mission is simple:
1. Stop by the trucks and grab a school supply list.
2. Head inside Walmart and shop for a few items.
3. Stuff your donations into the back of either vehicle.
9 a.m. to 6 p.m. or until the trucks cannot hold one more glue stick

As part of National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, donated supplies will be packed into backpacks and given to children in our community who need them.

Whether you donate a full backpack, a box of pencils, or a pack of crayons, each item helps a local student start the school year prepared and confident.

Let’s see whether Durango can fill two armored vehicles with school supplies.
