Durango Autumn Arts Festival

10:00 AM - 6:00 AM
Join us this fall on Second Avenue for the Durango Autumn Arts Festival, proudly sponsored by our neighbor down the avenue, 1st SouthWest Bank. The weekend of September 20 & 21 marks twenty years of celebrating the amazing creativity and productivity of makers from around the country at the region’s premiere outdoor Fine Arts and Fine Crafts festival. This year will feature 86 artists and craftspeople selected by our three esteemed jurors: Diane West, jeweler and owner of Diane West Jewelry & Art; ceramic artist Peter Karner; and photographer Jenny Gummersall.
Many artists and artisans from previous festivals will be returning this year and many new ones will be present to share their inspiring and unique hand-made works that include painting, sculpture, glass, photography, mixed media, jewelry, ceramics, wood, fiber art and more!
As always the festival is FREE to all! There will be live music with local favorites plus Americana musician Tyller Gummersall and his band. As always, locally produced snacks, beverages, and microbrews will be available, and the Creation Station will offer hands-on art activities for kids of all ages!
