Join author and nature educator Garry Pfaffmann for a family adventure into the world of birds. Parents, join your kids as they experiment with flight and design (they’ll need your help), nest building and camouflage strategies, and the bird Olympics relay race! Throughout these events, kids will use Colorado-specific field guides to learn about local birds and bird behaviors. Any participant who purchases one or more of Garry’s field guides at full price will receive a free Rocky Mountain Birds book. All workshop participants receive free entry to the Nature Center, which is open from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
