DESCRIPTION
All workshop participants receive free entry to the Nature Center, which is open from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.Join former mountain lion technician, Laine Johnson, for an informative workshop on lion ecology. At the nature center you will learn about lion natural history, sign, safety and conservation. Laine has unique experience radio-collaring mountain lions using both hound dogs and leg snares in the Snowy Mountains of Wyoming and for the Southern Ute Tribe. She was one of a two person team studying the elusive puma in remote and dangerous regions. She is excited to share her personal experience and knowledge of these beautiful animals. Please wear hiking shoes, bring plenty of water, and sun protection.
