Durango father of two young boys, fellow hockey & soccer player, Ethan Deffenbaugh, was critically injured on April 10th, 2014 while riding his bike in Denver, CO. He was taken to Denver Health Hospital where he underwent three major surgeries to repair multiple facial injuries . Thanks to his talented surgeons and a lot of good wishes and prayers from the Durango community, he is recovering, but the costs for his hospitalization are extensive and expected to grow. We all know Durango is a close-knit community and when someone in our community is in need, we pull together and support them any way we can. Ethan needs our support to help with medical expenses that are quickly piling up . Those of you who know Ethan also know about his impressive moustache, so we are starting a "Save the Stache" fundraiser for him. We are asking for donations from all our local business. We will be having a silent auction and fundraiser at Ska Brewery on Sunday June 15 th , 2014. You can donate items to be included in the silent auction and we will also be accepting monetary donations.
