They’re back. The folks who brought you the smash comedy “Lies, Shame, and Self-Medication” return to the stage to explore the tragic and hilarious complexities of modern relationships. “Relationships in Durango: Can we all get along?” runs Thursday - Saturday, September 4 – 6, 7:30 p.m. each evening at the Henry Strater Theatre. This play brings laughter and tears as it examines our struggle to maintain meaningful relationships and our tendency to sabotage them. Using a series of one-act sketches, playwright Jeffrey Deitch touches a nerve and warms the heart as he reveals the joy and pain we derive from family, religion, and the social contract. “Relationships in Durango: Can We All Get Along?” features the brilliant characterizations of renowned performers Maureen May and Lisa Zwisler. The cast of acclaimed actors includes Marc West, Eli Rosenbaum, K.C. Caimi, Cory Lorenzo, Hannah Mae Bernat, and Jeffrey Deitch. Nor List and Brian McAleer, in their acting debuts, offer inspired and captivating portrayals.
