A fundraiser for Lisa Parker’s Puppies takes place this Saturday at the Derailed Pour House in Durango, 725 Main Avenue from 4-8 p.m. This organization finds foster and forever homes for hundreds of rescued puppies and adult dogs, each year. Catilin Cannon will provide live music, and there will a Mexico-vacation giveaway, food and drink specials, puppies on-site for adoption and a live auction. Attendees are asked to bring a puppy or dog-toy donation. Lisa Parker’s Puppies (LPP) is a local non-profit committed to finding “forever homes” for stray and unwanted dogs.
