Working In Full Color – Exploring Monotypes Workshop with visiting Boulder, Colorado artist Melanie Yazzie $ 225 DAC members / $250 general April 25-26 (2 sessions) 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Working In Full Color- Exploring Monotypes with Melanie Yazzie introduces the monoprint and monotype methods and working with AKUA soy based inks. The students will learn the about making non-editioned prints using a variety of two or more technical approaches. These processes will be discussed and demonstrated in depth. Remember this is an introduction to these methods but they will give you the basics of working with this new medium and it will be a starting point for more advanced work on your own. Works made in workshop will be featured in group exhibition at the University of Colorado Boulder in the Summer of 2015! A $45 materials fee will be paid to the instructor the first day of class.
