Who Knew Wolves Love Wine? The wolves at Wolfwood Refuge do! On September 3rd, during Durango’s Art Walk from 5-8pm, the Four Leaves Winery welcomes an ambassador wolf from the refuge. During this special evening, we will feature select, handcrafted red and white wines for purchase. Each bottle is decorated with beautiful artwork of animals that call Wolfwood ‘home’. A generous $7 donation is made by Four Leaves Winery for each bottle sold. When customers purchase 4 bottles of wine, they will receive 2 Wolfwood wine glasses as a special thank you. Also featured will be the exquisite art of: Edward Aldrich, Kelly Black, Mimi Bonkowske, Laura Bruzzese, Peggy Cloy, Rebecca Koeppen, Juanita Melendez, Crystal Hartman, Joyce Heuman, Pat Howard, Bradley Kachnowicz, Melanie Kirkpatrick, Rhonda Polsfut, Janice Reich, Susan Reed, Hannah Shook, Ann Smith and Claude Steelman. The artists donated their work for Wolfwood Refuge’s 4th Annual Art Auction at the Lost Dog on September 13th from 2-6pm. The art will remain on display at Four Leaves Winery for a week of public view in advance of the live auction. During the Art Walk, representatives from Wolfwood will be on hand to answer questions about the refuge, and sell tickets for the upcoming art auction.
