Durango Nature Studies Offers Fly Tying/Casting Workshop

Durango Nature Studies is offering a unique opportunity in the world of fly fishing! Join us for a three-part workshop covering fly tying, entomology, and fly casting. Will Blanchard from Animas Valley Anglers will teach local fly tying patterns and coach you on making your own flies to take home. Local entomologist, Scott Roberts, will discuss entomology of the four corners, and Amanda Blanchard and Aaron Hyder will teach the art of fly casting.
All materials and equipment for the class is covered under the registration fee. Please feel free to bring your own equipment if you desire. Space is limited. The age suggestion is 16 years and older, however accommodations can be made.
