You are what you eat! Explore the history and future of food in this fun and messy exploration of gardening, food preservation, fermentation, keeping bees and chickens, the physics of cooking, the physiology of digestion, and how molecular gastronomy is changing the way we understand our food. We’ll make liquid nitrogen freeze dried fruit snacks, bake cookies in home-made solar ovens, harvest honey and make cheese! Be prepared to wear a lab coat and goggles in the kitchen during this camp as we apply the experimental process to cooking!
