Do you like science and love the outdoors? Have you ever wanted to incorporate your love for adventure with your love of science? Well, folks, you’re in luck - Animas River: Unplugged is the camp for you! Campers will investigate our local riparian zone while conducting river samples, searching for macro invertebrates, building solar ovens and more! Back in the lab, we’ll explore specimens and water samples under microscopes. So, come explore the importance of water, our river, and how we can do our part to protect it! Camp will end with a BIG splash when we ride the Animas River with a local raft company, incorporating our newfound knowledge and experiences into one wild adventure!
