FREE live music at Buckley Park in historic downtown Durango Bacon is a dynamic funk, soul, and ska band based out of Durango, CO. Since forming in 2012, Bacon has been sharing its dance-inspiring, horn-heavy grooves for audiences in venues across the Southwest. The band released its first self-titled CD in 2014, and is hard at work on new originals as well as fresh takes on classic tracks by artists including Maceo Parker, Liquid Soul, Banda Black Rio, and others. With Chris Ross on trumpet, Jeff Nelson on guitar, Ryan Baker on Tenor Sax, Zach Stevenson on Bass, and Larry Craig on drums, Bacon gets their audiences out of their seats and onto the dance floor.
