Are you looking for a fun summer trip for an outdoorsy teenager? Join in on a Free Backpacking Trip for Ages 12 to 16. The 3 day trip will be in the Hermosa Special Management Area July 27, 28, 29, 2015. Guides include representatives of the San Juan Mountains Association, San Juan National Forest, and Mountain Studies Institute. Participants will need to carry most of their own provisions and gear (equipment list available). Free gear rentals may also be available. Some parents will be needed to help with transportation.
