Climb to Conquer Cancer is a unique activity held by the American Cancer Society in our western states. It is a unique event that offers everyone in a community the opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer.

Climb to Conquer Cancer is a non-competitive walk/hike to raise awareness and dollars to fight cancer. Contributions are dedicated to life-saving American Cancer Society research, education, advocacy and patient service programs to defeat this disease.

Following the Climb, participants are encouraged to spend the day at our base camp, Santa Rita Park. The Canines For A Cure will be hosting a multitude of fun events. Agility dogs, K9 Unit for Durango Police, Search and Rescue, Therapy Dogs, Guide Dogs and Dog Trainers from all over the four corners area. There will be an AKC Rally and entertainment for every dog daring to participate in some of our “fun classes” It’s a day of fun family entertainment for a good cause!
