In this comedy Tommy, the bungling son of a prominent factory owner, must somehow get his act together long enough to prove himself worthy of inheriting his late father's business to keep his wicked stepmother Beverly from selling it. If she sells it, he will not only lose his fortune, the town, which depends on that factory for income, will be destroyed. To save the business, Tommy, and his late father's sniffy business assistant, Richard, must hit the road and generate enough sales to keep the struggling company afloat. Mayhem ensues, as Tommy really is a class "A" doofus.
