The “Aviation Celebration” is a free community event at which the public is invited to view and learn about numerous military, private, and emergency aircraft.

In addition to getting an up close look at a wide variety of aircraft, the event will also include an opportunity to tour airport fire & rescue equipment, Durango Fire Protection District equipment, and airport snow removal equipment. Live musical performances will be provided by three groups: The High Rollers, The Rhapsodies, and The Durango High School Marching Band! Free food is being provided and the United Way is sponsoring a beer tent. Door prizes (including airport parking vouchers) will be given away to attendees.
