For thousands of years artists have been inspired to create symmetrical, geometric designs known as mandalas, emulating shapes in nature that form naturally and perfectly, such as the rings of a tree, a slice of fruit, the sun’s rays, a spiraling shell. In this class, suitable for beginners and those with experience, we will learn to use precise tools to cut glass into specific shapes. Artist Lily Russo will guide the class on how to start from a center point and use basic geometry to create an inspired pattern with brightly colored stained glass!
