Viewpoints training is a fun and active method that helps artists create and talk about performance. This workshop will go over the very basics of Viewpoints technique: exploration of space and time, improvisational movement and speaking, and ensemble building. This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience and can be helpful to actors, choreographers, directors, designers, dramaturgs, and writers.
Instructor Bio: Leah Brewer is a senior theatre student at Fort Lewis College. In her time at FLC, Leah has performed in Sun and Room, Dead Man Walking, and Thoroughly Modern Millie and assistant-directed Avenue Q. Leah has also spent time learning Viewpoints and Suzuki acting techniques from the critically acclaimed
SITI Company in NY- the birthplace of Viewpoints technique.
