Description: Improvisation is challenging, risky, terrifying and tons of fun! Participants will explore the fundamentals of what makes great improv and the techniques that not only build a successful Chicago-style long form improv but also create compelling and hilarious scenes.
Instructor bio: Jess has worked with Creede Repertory Theatre (CRT) since 2004, first as an actor and director, then as resident composer, and now as Artistic Director .Jess is also founder of their 9-years-and-running resident improvisation comedy troupe Boomtown. For CRT she’s directed The Drowsy Chaperone, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Sighthound,To Fool the Eye, and most of the original theatre for young audience pieces created with Jeff Carey and Steven Cole Hughes.

Description: Are you ready to dive in and break down a scene? Learn how to take a scene apart in order to make bold and interesting acting choices. Helpful for your next audition, show, and your life.
Instructor Bio: Kate Berry is an AEA (Actors’ Equity Association) and SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guildâ€American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) member. She has been nominated for a Henry Award, several Ovation Awards, and was recently named Best Actress in a Play by the Denver Westword. She works and performs regularly with the Creede Repertory Theatre as well as theatres on the Front Range.
